The Burnout Blueprint: Tools for a Healthier Workplace
After years of growing awareness and billions spent on the wellbeing industry, last year, 70% of UK employees said they’d been so stressed in 2023, that they’d felt overwhelmed and unable to cope. We shouldn’t be surprised … a cost-of-living crisis, environmental crisis, political crisis, energy crisis, food crisis … the list goes on, these are not easy times, and so the question of burnout is as important as ever. What is burnout? What causes it? And how do you prevent it?
In this workshop, we bust the burnout myths, identify the signs, triggers and symptoms of burnout and equip people to create resilient teams at work and make better decisions for their own wellbeing by exploring the following sub-topics:
-
Psychological safety: what it is, why it matters, and how to create it.
-
The Stockdale Paradox, the power of acceptance and how to avoid toxic hope.
-
How to create your personal time system, which enables you to get more done, but without getting busier or burnt out.
Join us for our April breakfast networking event to discover the burnout blueprint and come away with tools for a healthier workplace. Meet some of the G4C Midlands team and our special guest Andrew Pain for a thought-provoking breakfast event all about collaboration, networking, and all with FREE breakfasts, teas & coffees.
Andrew is a TEDx and CPD accredited wellbeing speaker, leading in his work on burnout, men’s mental health, and work-life balance. He’s a podcaster, award-winning campaigner, vlogger and soon-to-be author, serving diverse organisations, from Specsavers to HSBC, National Highways to Royal Botanical Gardens Edinburgh, University of Liverpool to NFU Mutual etc.
He’s also a father to 2 grown-up daughters and 3 boys aged 11, 8 and 5, which means he’s a triage nurse, health and safety officer, professional blackmailer, bribery guru, cook, tutor, taxi driver, in-house psychologist, agony aunt, and unappreciated fashion consultant.
