The event marks a relaunch of Shropshire Constructing Excellence, now part of Constructing Excellence Midlands, which aims to support companies working in the sector through knowledge sharing and networking opportunities.
With networking opportunities at the start of the event, and during lunch, the event is also hosting organisations which can support construction sector companies to grow and information on training and skills.

Mark Barrow, Chair of Shropshire Constructing Excellence and Executive Director of Place at Shropshire Council, and a representative of Telford & Wrekin Council will be key note speakers.
Covering key infrastructure projects which aim to develop the economy and prosperity of our region, they will highlight procurement opportunities for the next few years as well as an update on current schemes.
Cornovii Developments’ Harpreet Rayet will give an overview on STAR Housing’s successful retrofit project near Oswestry, sustainability plans and SAP calculations.
Shrewsbury Colleges Group’s Matt Laws, which is sponsoring the event, will give a brief update on skills and training currently available to employers through the Marches Education Partnership.
