Guest Speaker – Steve Roome – Construction Director

Steve is one of the Midlands region’s most successful and recognisable faces in the industry. Over the last 5 years he has delivered £200m of world class commercial office space at Paradise and 103 Colmore Row, Birmingham. He is an open and engaging character who is keen to bring young professionals into the industry and develop long lasting working relationships with our clients and staff alike. 10 years ago Steve won the much coveted ‘Construction Manager of the Year award for his complex refurbishment of Derby Civic Offices in his hometown and is extremely proud of this achievement.

Steve is optimistic about the future of the industry and is particularly keen to drive BAM into new markets and always strives to identify the latest innovations and construction technology. His energetic and enthusiastic approach to management makes sure that every member of his team is on board and invested in the project from day one. Making it an enjoyable and rewarding journey to completion on all of his schemes.
