I have been working in the construction industry for 5 years in various roles, facilitating geo-environmental consultancy projects and assisting with property management and development. I also have background in interior architecture and design.
I am passionate about fostering diversity and inclusion in the construction sector and I am hoping that being part of G4C can help to reshape industry norms: creating spaces where diversity is not just embraced but celebrated to help build a better future for everyone.

Seven years as a geo-environmental consultant with experience of contaminated land and large-scale remediation projects, I joined the construction industry and noticed that at most junctures, there were problems with communication or collaboration between project staff, leading to delays or cost implications that were wholly unnecessary.
As part of the G4C East Midlands group, we want to pave the way for future professionals to break out of siloed working, by engaging with early career professionals and students, to showcase the great minds and exciting projects/ careers that the construction industry can provide whilst providing a platform to create debate and positive change.

I am a Structural Engineer with a variety of industrial, infrastructure and heritage project experience as part of a multi-disciplinary design consultancy. I am experienced in design coordination and stakeholder engagement across both public and private sector projects.
I am focussed on bringing together the design, construction and operation processes; developing understanding of each stakeholder’s requirements and expertise, to holistically tackle some of the key challenges facing the construction industry. As part of G4C East Midlands, I hope we can bring together experience from the full breadth of the sector to unlock improved ways of working to deliver real change on innovation, safety and sustainability.
