I work as a SHEQ Advisor for JN Bentley, with experience in environmental management, carbon reduction and social value.

My role primarily focuses on conducting environmental support visits across a range of projects to champion environmental initiatives, offer assistance and guidance where needed. On a day-to-day basis, every day is different as each project is unique or has its own set of different challenges too!

As part of the G4C Midlands committee, I support the committee in organising and hosting events; and working with the wider Constructing Excellence group.

I hope to use my skills to continue the successful work achieved by the current committee but also expand our events to individuals in higher education; explore opportunities to operate outside of Birmingham and secure sponsorship so that the group can continue to deliver events for our members free of charge.

I am an Architectural Technologist working at Bond Bryan. I have a varied experience on projects but have predominantly worked on Healthcare, Commercial and Education.

My role entails working alongside clients to create a brief and have been working closely with contractors to ensure a smooth construction process, whilst ensuring the quality of work is to the clients and my own expectations. For me, a key part for construction is being transparent and communicating with each other; being able to develop relationships with everyone on each project.

As Vice-Chair for G4C, I’ll be working alongside the Chair to deliver events across the year and establish long term relationships with local companies to create a community for young professionals and students/apprentices within the Midlands.

Passionate about designing places for people and creating communities of passionate people, my focus is to aid the G4C team to create these spaces for young professionals, students and apprentices to come together to learn, share and express their passions and knowledge.

I am an RTPI Chartered Town Planner working at McLoughlin Planning. I have project experience in a variety of different sectors, ranging from strategic land and site promotion, residential development, commercial and industrial projects as well as several significant infrastructure projects across England.

I have just under 4 years of experience working within the private sector, acting as an agent for my clients. I am currently focused on strategic land sites across the whole of England, redevelopment sites in London, and the diversification of rural buildings around the South West.

My current role as an events coordinator allows me to work very closely with other members of the committee to put on our fantastic G4C events! These range from breakfast networking, CPD sessions and social events.

My goal for this year is to make our events bigger and better than ever and keep the growth of G4C Midlands going!

As a Marketing Executive at ZERO Construct, I oversee social media, communications, and community engagement. My work blends my passion for climate, community and construction, with a focus on content creation and strategy development. I lead initiatives on decarbonization and facilitate dialogues around sustainability reporting, contributing to impactful industry events.

I’m deeply committed to promoting social value and believe collaboration can accelerate progress, especially at the local level. Through my involvement with the G4C committee, I aim to empower young professionals in construction by promoting CPD sessions, networking events, and knowledge sharing. My goal is to bridge the gap between education and industry, helping the next generation succeed.

I work as a Business Development & Marketing Co-ordinator for Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services. My experience is in bid submissions, primarily the design aspect, as well as marketing campaigns within the Midlands region.

My role entails working alongside the pre-construction team to collate all the information required to submit a tender document. I use creative tools such as InDesign to make a bid submission look the best it can and ensure it is ready for the client.

I am also responsible for social value within the Midlands region and general marketing duties.

Within the G4C committee I look after the marketing and social media – posting about our upcoming events and making sure G4C members are updated with the latest news. I have a passion for creativity and marketing and want to inspire other young people, especially women to get involved in the construction industry.
