Guest Speaker – Sean Hall

Sean works as a senior site manager for Seddon Construction. He has achieved his NVQ Level 6 in site management and has over 15 years of experience working in the construction sector.

He will be delivering a presentation on one of their recently completed projects – Shire Hall. The works comprised a £2 million remodeling and a refurbishment of a Grade II* landmark building (built in 1790).

He has worked on some prestigious and unusual projects including building a new bussing lounge airside at Birmingham airport, where he had to complete an airside driving test.
He also helped construct a research facility for Birmingham University in a woodland, where helicopters had to lower metal towers into the forest. All without damaging any of the infrastructure.
